Montour Trail
The Montour Trail is the longest suburban rail trail in the country, which will ultimately run from Coraopolis to Clairton, PA, and connect other nearby trails.
When it’s completed, the Montour Trail will be 46 continuous miles through Allegheny and Washington Counties. The trail connects to the Great Allegheny Passage to several points, including Coraopolis (Montour Mile 0), Pittsburgh International Airport, Ohio River Trail, and Panhandle Trail. This nearly finished trail is a major piece connecting several key Industrial Heartland Trail Coalition efforts into Ohio and West Virginia.
