This October and November the Trail Town Program® will be hosting two networking and informational summits. On Monday October 27th in Cumberland, MD, the members from the Great Allegheny Passage and the C&O Canal Trail will meet at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. The topics of this summit will include local foods and off-seasons solutions. You will be able to learn how to incorporate local foods to help support your local economy and promote sustainable measures. The off-season can be a low traffic time for many towns. We will discuss practices and tips that will help you take advantage of the off season period
On Wednesday November 5th in Oil City, PA members of the Erie to Pittsburgh Trail will be meeting at the Oil City Days Inn.
