Trail users enjoy the beauty and recreation of the Oil Region’s trails and now these cyclists will have the opportunity to enjoy art and educational workshops, lectures, and small events at “The Chicken Coop- Studio 306”, located in the historic old Crawford school building known as’ The Crawford Center” – 511 Hill Street, Emlenton, Pa. 16373.
“The Chicken Coop – Studio 306 “is a unique community based organization created to showcase our towns creative assets and incubate individual’s talents. “The Studio 306” is equipped for “Drop In Studio Time” with a cozy nook for relaxing and peaceful crafts with hot and cold snacks and a classroom setting with great lighting. “Make It and Take It Workshops” provide a creative stop along the trail to pause and explore our neighborhoods. Cool topics may include, Nature’s Floral Crafts, Mini Mosaics, collage, environments along the river, photography and many more.

Trail users are welcome guest in our small towns along the Allegheny and The Erie to Pittsburgh Trail system. Businesses and community are working together to offer our towns as peaceful retreats. Please come visit and see first-hand the simple life and slower pace of the rural towns in the valley.
