Sheepskin Trail
The Sheepskin Trail is a developing trail connection crossing through rural Fayette County, PA, that will connect 34 miles of trail to link Dunbar Township to Point Marion Borough, and on to West Virginia.
The Sheepskin Trail will pass through several former coal and coke “patch towns,” and connect the Great Allegheny Passage to a growing network of trails surrounding the greater Morgantown, West Virginia area. Small sections of trail are on the ground and being built. The first 2.1-mile section creates a spur from the Great Allegheny Passage near Connellsville to Dunbar Borough.
